If hope springs eternal, then the opposite must be true for boaters--spring hopes eternal!
This boating season begins without my navigator. True, I have the paper charts and two electronic chart systems, but Sharon made navigating our cruises her priority. Actually, she made navigating my life her priority, so missing her goes far beyond reading the "maps", as she called them.
My advice as we enter another boating season--don't take your navigator for granted, especially if its your spouse.
