GO FOR THE PROTEIN

By February 27, 2024No Comments

Studies show that people who eat breakfast have less body fat than people who skip breakfast. But what you have for breakfast makes a difference, too. Danish researchers compared three groups of volunteers—those who ate no breakfast with those who either ate high-protein or high-carb to confirm a protein-rich breakfast results in great satiety or feeling of fullness It also improves ability to concentrate compared to high-carb and high-fat foods with the same calorie count. The study involving a small group of overweight young women, was published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Dairy Science. Authors say it is intriguing that there can be such a big difference in the satiety effect of two different meals with the same calorie content.
