By January 30, 2024February 20th, 2024No Comments

It has been said that if we eat a healthy, balanced diet, otherwise healthy people don’t need daily multivitamins. However, we now have the third major study showing daily multivitamins improve memory and slow cognitive aging in older adults. The latest study, from Massachusetts General Hospital, used in-person cognitive assessments. Over two years, multivitamin use slowed global cognitive aging by an estimated equivalent of two years compared to a placebo. Authors say results of three separate cognitive studies provides strong and consistent evidence that will get attention among older adults who are understandably very interested in ways to preserve brain health. This study is published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
