By August 17, 2026No Comments

Authors of the review in the journal Genes and Diseases say they observed that one of the strongest links between obesity and aging is chronic low-grade inflammation. They also looked at whether anti-aging treatments could help slow down aging and reduce age-related diseases. Lifestyle changes, such as calorie restriction and exercise, have been associated with improvements in metabolic functions linked to aging along with modern anti-obesity medications for their role in possibly improving healthy lifespan.
